Is this possible? If so, could someone please help me find a download for the driver? I can't seem to find it on Intel's website. I was talking with Windows tech support, and they said I can download another copy of the HID Keyboard driver and use both at the same time. The problem is that the device reads both under the same HID Keyboard driver, and won't let both function at the same time. As soon as I unplug the MIDI, the QWERTY works, and if I unplug the QWERTY, the MIDI works. I have my mouse and external hard drive plugged in and both work all throughout the process. This does not affect other USB ports and devices. I tried three different USB ports (all 2.0, as it is a cheap keyboard) for my QWERTY and it still will not work if the MIDI is in.
But if I unplug the QWERTY and plug in the MIDI, the MIDI will work without a hitch.
Windows provides system-supplied HID mapper drivers for HID keyboard, and HID mice devices. The mapper driver maps the I/O requests and data protocols of one to the other. If I plug in the MIDI keyboard while the QWERTY is plugged in, it will not work. A HID mapper driver is a kernel-mode WDM filter driver that provides a bidirectional interface for I/O requests between a non-HID Class driver and the HID class driver. Outbyte Driver Updater gets only official drivers made exactly for each device being updated. Check and update all PC drivers for Windows 11, 10, 8.1, 8, and 7. All of my drivers are up to date for both my MIDI keyboard and my QWERTY keyboard however, I am unable to have both my MIDI keyboard and my QWERTY keyboard plugged in and functioning simultaneously. Download Standard PS/2 Keyboard Windows driver for (Standard keyboards), that can help resolve Keyboard issues. I am plugging a MIDI to USB keyboard into my machine.
